We plan to hold an event giving out free coffee at RMIT City Campus, at the same time spreading awareness about our project and social media campaign. Visitors will be introduced to the hashtag and the project. For a more detailed look, go to EVENTS.

You mentioned promotion strategy for the project. Can you elaborate?

We use social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to help us reach out to the target audience. We use “Coffee RMIT” as the username of our our social media. #coffeermit is a hashtag that we found unused, to be a connection between all the activities/posts of the project.

For the promotion and publicize of our project, we approach in 2 ways: digital promotion and non-digital promotion.

Poster design promoting the project based on the cartooned figure will be handed out to participants, with information about the project, the website, and the hashtag. With the use of QR Code, the project would help bridging the gap between the real world and the digital world. We attached it below. Have a look.

Digital promotion?

What about non-digital promotion?

As we plan, we will consistently update our social media channels with both daily and weekly posts, with a variety of content to connect with RMIT's coffee lovers. For more details about the posts, go to MEDIA. Moreover, by using Facebook page, we also give information about the offline event that we hold.

We also invent a cartooned figure (The Coffee Panda - me) which represents the RMIT's coffee-lovers community. He will be the official promoter and social media spokesperson of the project, constantly interact with the posts (like, share, comment) to boost the content's exposure and circulation. Moreover, with humorous, bubbly and loveable personality, he would be a virtual celebrity, symbolizing the project and help us reach out fore more audience.

Awesome. What types of content are you publishing?

We are constantly posting daily Coffee Panda's quotes early on in the day (9am), then a daily fact about coffee in the early afternoon at 1pm. Make sure to be back around 7pm to check out our Coffee's survey, with questions regarding coffee. In addition to that are occasional coffee recipes, RMIT students interview and other silly things.

I'm interested already. Can I have a sneak peek?

Sure thing. Luckily the site's creator allows us to show off our Instagram feed on the website. It will be a much clearer demonstration to the variety of posts that we mentioned. Check them out!

What social media channels are you on?

For now, we are active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also subscribe to our Youtube channel for short interviews of RMIT students. Click on the icons below to be directed to our social media.

EVENTS

Amazing. What are the activities?

We want to interact and engage with RMIT's coffee lovers in a fun and quick way, that are both time-efficient and enjoyable for everyone. The activities include inviting them to be a 'Coffee Panda' to be a representative for our project. We would be taking pictures of coffee lovers with coffee cups in their hands, and transform them into a loveable Coffee Panda.

So what are the results?
